I heard a term yesterday, "SLOW SLIDE"  it refers to the fact when change happens over an extended period of time the average person doesn't even notice until it reaches critical mass and then , of course , it is usually to far along to stop. This is scary stuff, but when you apply this to your own community, the world immediately around you! WOW !! 2,000 miles from the Mexican border and the illegal drug trade now in our community from illegal sources is becoming the number one law enforcement problem. SLOW SLIDING away goes our country. It does not have to be this way, it is not an all or nothing world as many on the left and right would have you think. What happen to keeping the good and stopping the bad?

WHY DOESN'T CONGRESS WANT TO FIX THIS IMMIGRATION DISASTER? WHY HASN'T ANY OF THE PAST PRESIDENTS, BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN STEP UP TO OFFER A SOLUTION?

I'VE GOT AN IDEA THAT COULD MAYBE, JUST MAYBE SOLVE AT LEAST SOME OF OUR BORDER PROBLEMS! It seems the country is divided into two camps if you listen to the politicians. The open the border camp and let anyone come over or the shut the border and deport all illegal immigrants. There is a reality that politicians would discover if they would just get off the soap boxes and talk to the people involved. I'm going to bullet point this complex issue in a step by step approach realizing each step would have multi moving parts:

1.
First Secure the borders and yes I do mean secure, send the US Military down there, build the fences and stop the flow of illegal people, drugs and possible terrorist from crossing to the US. The Mexican government should do the same to prevent illegal guns and drug money from coming back across the border
2.
Build job recruitment centers at key locations along the border that would be manned by both Mexican and US personel. It's estimated it would take at least 30 such facilities. This employment agency would be charged with granting access to the many, hard working , well intentioned Mexicans who want to come to the US for employment. They would run security checks on each individual, give them a photo ID with an alian Social Security number. They would match the workers with US employers who need their help. The US employer would be responsible for their transportation to the work site and getting them established in decent living quarters. These workers would pay US taxes and also be protected by US labor laws. They would be required to check in with immigration periodically, but would be free to go back home when they wanted and return their jobs if desired or even seek new employment inside the US. They would not be required to become US citizens unless they wanted to.( why should they?)
3.
If they do want to become US citizens , they simply get into the normal process for gaining their citizenship.
4.
They should be allowed to bring their families if there employment would afford them that income to do so
5.
All illegal immigrants currently living in the US would be required to get a Guest Worker ID and show proof of employment or be deported. A grace period would be allowed for this process.
6.
They could use the Guest Worker ID to get driver licenses just as anyother US citizen, if they can pass the test.

WHY SHOULD WE DO THIS?

We should totally close the border because as you read this hundreds of unknowns are crossing the southern border. United States Intelligents has proof there are multi nationalities coming over the border. How many are Al Quaida terrorist? If less then one tenth of one percent were terrorist that means thousands are already here? Tons of drugs are coming across the border supporting a narco terrorist elite ruling class in Mexico. It has totally corrupted the normal law enforcement system in Mexico and it's violents has moved North into the US border states and beyond. These drug lords are the minority, the vast majority of Mexicans just want to come here for a better life or to make money and help their families back home, but even they are being forced to be drug mules or risk beheading by these drugs cartels. Many die each year in trying to cross the vast deserts just to get here or owe there souls to ruthless trafficers to bring them across! WHY?

I've talked with Mexicans who are now US Citizens and they see what is going on and most do not want open borders, they do not want this distruction of Amercia, they want their kids to have a decent life as we all do.

WHY HAVE WE LET THE POLITICIANS MAKE THIS SO DIFFICULT, YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING? WHAT ARE THEIR MOTATIVES? WHY NOT APPLY THE K.I.S.S. PRINCIPLE? WE ALL NEED TO REACH ACROSS OUR GREAT DIVIDE AND FIX THE PROBLEM BEFORE IT'S TO LATE!
